Daily
News
Headlines from a fixed set of searches, matched by name to the terminals, pipelines, carriers and companies on this site. We keep the title, the source and the link, and nothing else.
The news feed is not configured on this build. It comes from a scheduled Cloudflare Worker that reads public RSS and classifies headlines against the site's slug index; set NEWS_API_URL in the environment to switch it on. The worker source is in workers/news/.
How the matching works
A headline is matched to an asset when the asset's name appears in it as a whole phrase. Names shorter than six characters or of a single word are skipped, so a company called Shell does not capture every headline containing that word. Matching is approximate by design, and an item that matches nothing is still listed.
We store the headline, the publication and the link. We do not fetch or store article text, and the links are marked so they pass no ranking signal. Nothing on this page is written by us or by a language model.
